Oregon Global Warming Commission to Meet Virtually on October 30
SALEM – The Oregon Global Warming Commission will meet Friday, October 30, 2020. The public meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. online.
At this meeting, the Commission is expected to vote on actions related to the Commission’s draft 2020 Biennial Report to the Legislature.
The meeting will focus on discussion of the future of natural gas and electrification in a low carbon economy. The Commission will also continue the discussion of Agency Implementation Plans related to Executive Order 20-04, focusing on the plans by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Department of Administrative Services, and Building Codes Division. Finally, the Commission will also receive an update on the Governor’s Interagency Workgroup on Climate Impacts to Impacted Communities and learn about the OHA’s interagency Climate Equity Blueprint.

All submitted comments will be shared with Commission members before the meeting.
