Energy Facility Siting Council to Meet September 19 & 20
SALEM — The next regularly scheduled meeting of Oregon’s Energy Facility Siting Council will be held on Thursday and Friday, September 19-20, 2024. Attendance will be open to the public both in person in Clatskanie, OR and virtually using the online Webex platform. Please see the meeting agenda for more detailed information, including meeting times, location, and instructions on how to attend virtually.
The main items on the Council’s agenda include:
Public Hearing: Public Hearing on the Draft Proposed Order on Request for Amendment 13 of the Mist Underground Natural Gas Storage Facility.
Wagon Trail Solar Project Application for Site Certificate (Action Item): Proposed Order Review, Possible Material Change Hearing and Public Notice of Possible Hearing to Adopt Final Order (ORS 469.370(7)).
Contested Case Rulemaking Final Decision (Action Item): Tom Jackman, Rules Coordinator, will present Council with the proposed permanent order for the Contested Case Rulemaking, which includes a review of public comments, and possible final decision.
Tribal Government Rulemaking Initiation (Action Item): Tom Jackman, Rules Coordinator, will present Council with a proposal to set the scope of the rulemaking and begin the informal process for this rulemaking.
